A WIDE range of costumes was worn by entrants in Liphook Carnival’s children’s fancy dress competition, which was held at Liphook Junior School.

Jackson won the two years old and under category dressed as a dinosaur, George was second dressed as a baby pumpkin, Lewis was third dressed as a little pumpkin and Max was highly commended dressed as a skeleton mummy.

Jack won the three years old to five years old category dressed as a skeleton Jack, Emilio was second dressed as a jelly bean, Thomas was third dressed as a skeleton T rex and Abigail was highly commended dressed as a pumpkin girl.

Noah won the six years old and over category dressed as an Inkling Boy, Eden was second dressed as a bat, Amalie was third dressed as Please Mr Panda and Eloise was highly commended dressed as Stupid Deaths/Horrible History.

Marley, Lexie, Taylor and Leila won the groups of two or more children of any age category with their Star Wars entry, Harrison, April and Ruari were second with their Wizard of Oz entry and Archie, Freddie, Skye and Arran were third with their fidget spinners entry.

Emilio won the Committee Choice award, and Saul won the Best Overall award dressed as a sparkly rainbow.
