POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road collision in Alton that left one driver with life threatening injuries.
Officers were called to reports of a two vehicle collision on the A31 eastbound at 3.45pm on Wednesday, March 8.
The collision involved a grey Suzuki Swift and a silver Audi A4.
The driver of the Suzuki, a 28-year-old man from Guilford, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital. He remains in a life-threatening condition.
The driver of the Audi, a 55-year-old woman from South Wonston, suffered minor injuries.
Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either vehicle prior to the incident.
