Woolmer Forest Lions raise more than £4,500 for Ukrainian refugees

WOOLMER Forest Lions were bowled over by the response to their street collections in aid of Ukraine refugees.

Lions members held collections at The Forest Centre  in Grayshott, The Country Market and Headley – and raised more than £4,500.

Lions president Joanne Wilson said: “This money will be sent to the Lions clubs in the Ukraine area who will use it to directly support the people in most need.

“The generosity of the local people has been amazing and we thank everyone for their support.”
