THE 'MASSIVE' project to turn Petersfield police station into a museum gets under way next week.
Architects from Hampshire County?Council's Historic Buildings Group, led by Giles Pritchard, will begin work preparing a 'huge' first phase Heritage Lottery bid.
Work converting the Victorian building in St Peter's Road isn't expected to start until October 2016. It should finish in late 2018, with a provisional opening in 2019.
Museum trustee Bill Gosney said: "It's a massive project and the first phase lottery bid is to cover the cost of all the preparatory work....
