Work to stabilise banks of Petersfield pond

AFTER visits to ponds at Buriton and Midhurst, a working party is being set up to look at how best to stabilise the banks of Petersfield Heath pond.

For some years they have suffered from water erosion and erosion from walkers, children and fishermen.

Following the pond visits, a working party of users of the Heath is being set up to gauge the full extent of the work needed to shore up the banks and stop the erosion.
