Less Crossover Youth Centre workers and parish councillors are to meet to discuss the possibility of a pump track at West Liss recreation ground by the pavilion.

The meeting next Tuesday (July 12) at 7.45pm in the pavilion comes after a pump track was hired for the Jubilee celebrations and the half-term break on the recreation ground.

Crossover spokesman Sean Quinn said: “It was very popular and enjoyed all day and every subsequent day by people of all ages using BMX bikes, skateboards, roller boots and scooters.

“There was a consultation online which received a lot of positive feedback, and the meeting will evaluate that.”

On Jubilee day, Crossover Youth Centre provided a DJ for the events on the recreation ground, while youth workers Suzy Blackman, Nell Hardman, Sarah Garner and Victoria Harrison and young people made crowns, blew bubbles, hula-hooped and enjoyed various other activities.

Crossover also ran a half-term trip to Air Hop trampoline and activity park.
