TEAMS of youngsters put their knowledge of wizards, warriors, aliens, elves and more to the test, at an East Hampshire Youth Council quiz.
The science fiction and fantasy-themed quiz, held at the council chamber in Penns Place, Petersfield, saw participants dress as characters from Dr Who, Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings.
Teams were entered by the Crossover Youth Centre in Liss, Mill Chase Academy in Bordon, The Petersfield School (TPS), Bohunt School in Liphook, and Ditcham Park School, with two teams from East Hampshire Youth Council, who were first and second.
The quiz, in its 19th year, featured questions on politics, sports, and challenged teams to a dance contest and sing-a-long to Slade’s Merry Christmas Everybody.
East Hampshire District Council portfolio holder for communities Councillor Julie Butler, who is also a governor at TPS joined in with school’s team. She said:?“It was great to be part of the team.”
