This December 2025, Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery are offering a 50% discount on their admission fees, meaning you can visit this Christmas for £5! This is a thank-you from Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery to the community for all the support in 2025. As an independent charity, Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery does not receive any government funding to operate; instead, it relies solely on admissions, events, and fundraising to stay open. We hear the community's feedback, and we never want our admission prices to be an obstacle, which led to the decision to reduce admission prices by 50% for the festive season.

This December deal offers the community access to our entire site, with multiple exhibitions. Namely, Where the Light Falls: Winifred Joseph’s Rural Archive, a locally focused photography exhibition showcasing the work of local photographer, Winifred Joseph as she captured life in the area between 1917 to 1941. All the prints shown in the exhibition are for sale, making excellent Christmas gifts for friends and family.
Pay What You Can admission will also be returning for the day on Sunday November 30 2025. This is the perfect way to experience our exhibitions at a price that works for you. All you have to do is simply arrive at the museum on Sunday and buy a ticket at whatever price you wish, or you could even go in for free and make a small donation after the fact.

Speaking of donating, this Christmas, Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery are partnering with Big Give in their 2025 Christmas Challenge. Thanks to match funding from Reed Foundation, donations made to Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery from the 2nd to 9th December 2025 through Big Give’s Christmas Challenge will be doubled! Visit biggive.org and search Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery to donate and double your difference this Christmas! Donations secured through the Big Give Christmas Challenge will go towards our “Engaging Arts, Culture and Heritage” (EACH) programme. Many young people, especially those with SEND or outside formal education, lack access to inspiring cultural experiences; older adults face rural isolation; and low-income or neurodivergent individuals feel excluded from mainstream cultural spaces. EACH counters this by offering inclusive, co-created arts programming that boosts wellbeing, fosters belonging, and helps build empathy and civic pride in a culturally underserved region. These creative learning programmes will provide inter-generational access to culture, transforming lives through art and stories.

Get exclusive members only discounts and perks as well as supporting local heritage and arts through your local museum and art gallery.
