MBK LEISURES have held several junior open matches.

On August 29, a junior open match was held at the Coloured Ponds, Rake, and 14 juniors fished.

The results of that junior open match were as follows: under nine years old: 1. Ollie Kitchener (Storrington) 4-0-0, 2. Jack Dummer (Fernhurst) 2-4-0, 3. Reggi Moseley (Portsmouth) 1-15-0; nine to 12 years old: 1. Jessica Carter (Alton) 17-6-0, 2. Freddie Bacon (Dorking) 6-12-0, 3. Connor Hinkley (Petersfield) 5-13-0; 13 to 17 years old: 1. Chris Smith (Alton) 4-8-0, 2. Josh Tearle (Storrington) 3-12-0, 3. Karter Whittock (Froyle) 0-13-0.

On July 25, a junior open match was held at the Coloured Ponds, Rake, and 12 juniors fished.

The results of that junior open match were as follows: under nine years old: (pond one): 1. Ollie Kitchener (Storrington) 13-8-0, 2. Reggi Moseley (Portsmouth) 3-10-0, 3. Henry Stevens (Clanfield) 0-8-0; nine to 12 years old (pond one): 1. Jessica Carter (Alton) 27-4-0, 2. Matthew Bonnett (Horndean) 18-8-0, 3. Ellie Hinkley (Petersfield) 10-14-0; 13 to 17 years old (pond two): 1. Liam Gerster (Southampton) 18-4-0, 2. Ed Milford (Clanfield) 5-11-0, 3. Chris Cooper (Aldershot) 0-13-0.

The next MBK Leisures junior open match will be held at the Coloured Ponds, Rake, on Saturday. The draw is at noon, and fishing will be from 1pm to 4pm.
