Eastleigh Ladies II 0 Petersfield Ladies II 6: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ second team started well against Eastleigh.

Broome picked up a long pass from Conran and scored the first goal of the match. A strong attack from Green, followed by a scuffle in the D, led to the second goal for Petersfield by King junior. It didn’t take long for O’Kelly to add another.

The visitors made a few changes in the second half. A confident Clare moved from centre-half to the left wing, and scored within minutes of taking this new position. With King junior now playing as a centre-forward it only took a few attempts for her to score again. Broome also scored as Petersfield won 6-0.

Petersfield are in second place with a very healthy goal difference of plus 55. The next match on Saturday, February 27, against league leaders New Forest should be an exciting game.
