Petersfield under-13 Pirates 9 Bourne Blades under-13 Badgers 2: PETERSFIELD under-13 Pirates stayed at the top of the league with a 9-2 home victory against Bourne Blades under-13 Badgers.

Petersfield came close to opening the scoring when Will McKechnie hit the post. They did take the lead though when Tom Chads finished well. Joe then calmly placed the ball low to the left corner of the goal to make it 2-0. Bourne pulled a goal back, but Petersfield regained control of the match and Will made it 3-1.

Ten seconds after the restart Will got his second, and only a couple of minutes later a fine first-half performance was completed with his hat-trick. Bourne pulled one more back on the stroke of half time, before James L made it 6-2.

The Pirates controlled the second half and scored another three goals. Joe scored his second of the match, Josh scored his first, and Miles struck with an unstoppable penalty into the top right corner of the net.
