Petersfield III 4 Fleet & Ewshot IV 0: PETERSFIELD Hockey Club’s men’s third team continued their perfect start to the season with a comprehensive 4-0 victory at home to Fleet and Ewshot’s fourth team on Saturday.

Although it’s still early in the season, the third team have clearly set out their stall and sit proudly at the top of the league.

Despite the convincing 4-0 win, Petersfield still have plenty of room for improvement, as they created many chances and won plenty of short corners but struggled to convert the opportunities into more goals.

There is plenty of work to do on the training pitch for the third team, but their season has got off to a flying start.

Petersfield’s third team have won their first three matches in Hampshire Division 9 North (Men) to pick up nine points out of nine. The team have scored 11 league goals and conceded just two goals.
