Petersfield Ladies II 8 IBM Nomads Ladies 0: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ second team knew that a win would considerably increase their chances of promotion.

A short corner from Broome was tapped in by Conran, shortly followed by another from Sinclair. Broome, Conran and King junior added to the goals scored to give Petersfield a 6-0 lead at half time.

Petersfield continued to create chances in the second half, but failed to convert as many as in the first half. King junior scored with a well-placed short corner and Conran got her first hat-trick of the season to complete the 8-0 win.

Only a seven-goal defeat in the next and final match can stop Petersfield getting promoted.
