GYMNAST Felix Coomber, who is a student at The Petersfield School, competed in the Jiri Matucha International in Prague.
He won gold on vault and silver pommel and floor as he placed fifth overall.
A total of 54 boys competed in Coomber’s under-14 category, with eight nationalities taking part in the competition.
Coomber, who trains with Portsmouth Gymnastics Club (PGC), achieved a new high score on pommel and vault at the competition, with a score of 11.25 on pommel and a score of 13.1 on vault.
Coomber scored 12.25 on floor, which was just 0.05 off the gold medal winning score of 12.3.
In total, four PGC members took part in the competition.
The Jiri Matucha International used the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG) scores and regulations, the same regime as those used at the Olympic Games.
