GYMNAST Felix Coomber, who is a student at The Petersfield School, has been selected for the England squad.

Coomber competes in the lower year of his under-16 age group, and this year he came third at the English Championships, with silver on floor and a fourth-place finish on the vault.

He then had five top 12 finishes at the British Championships, including a fifth-place finish on the pommel. Coomber has also competed at the London Open, where he finished in sixth place overall.

This included winning gold on the vault, silver on the floor and finishing in fifth place on pommel.

Coomber also won the Regional Championships, taking three golds and three silvers. He trains at Portsmouth Gymnastics Club.
