Elsted v Singleton: SINGLETON won the toss and decided to bat first.

Court and Fisk gave their side a solid start and put on 55 runs for the first wicket before Warrender bowled Fisk for 12.

Court continued to accumulate runs before he was bowled by Andy Wadey for 42.

A Wadey then followed this up by bowling M Davies for three.

After the drinks break Jordan Bates switched from keeping wicket to spearheading the bowling attack, and he had Stansford well caught by Jake Wadey for 28.

Bates then clean bowled Symonds and Price, and Singleton finished on 139-6 at the end of their allotted 35 overs.

Elsted did not make the best of starts to their reply as Terry Wadey was caught for three.

A Wadey was joined by Bates and the pair put Elsted back on track as they added 58 runs before A Wadey was bowled for 28.

All hope of victory rested on the shoulders of Bates but he was bowled by Court for 40.

The remaining Elsted batsmen subsided to the bowling of Court, Hall and F Davies, with no batsman reaching double figures.

Elsted were dismissed for a paltry 90 runs, giving Singleton a convincing victory by 49 runs.
