Elsted v Waverley: ELSTED won the toss and batted first but they lost skipper Terry Wadey for five, and his brother Andy Wadey soon followed being bowled for eight.

Ollie Simpson and Mike Hale added 25 runs before Hale was caught at the wicket for 12.

Simpson batted well until he was caught at the wicket for 25.

Stuart Barnard and Chris McMullen rallied slightly for Elsted and the pair added 33 runs before McMullen was caught for ten.

Barnard followed one run later, being adjudged leg before wicket for 20, and after 35 overs Elsted had crawled to 114-7.

Simpson struck an early blow for Elsted when he bowled Beanland for three.

Jake Wadey accounted for the other opener Day for ten but Hales and S Brewer took the game away from Elsted with S Brewer being severe on the Elsted bowlers.

The partnership was worth 58 runs before young Anthony White had S Brewer caught at the wicket for 42. Hale dismissed Hales for 22, having him well caught in the deep by J Wadey.

Waverley lost two more wickets but won by four wickets. Tempest and P Brewer were the not out batsmen.
