Stansted Park v Elsted: ELSTED opened their innings with Rob Norris and Andy Wadey and this pair gave their side a flying start.
Norris once again looked in fine form, striking numerous boundaries. He duly completed a fine half-century and the partnership yielded 113 runs before Norris was caught for 66. Jordan Bates went cheaply and Andy Wadey was eventually bowled for 51.
Jake Wadey and Terry Wadey provided useful contributions, and Mike Hale weighed in with 21 as Elsted scored 198-9 off their allotted 35 overs.
Archie Wadey made an early breakthrough when he had Rowlands caught at the wicket for ten. Ollie Simpson followed this up by bowling Joy for one. Bates and young Anthony White then sent Stansted Park crashing to 47-5.
Henwood and Trafford rallied for their side and added 38 runs before Hale accounted for Trafford for 15. Henwood was fighting a losing battle to save his side from defeat, but he completed a good half-century before falling to the bowling of White.
Elsted gained another victory to complete a fine season, winning by 48 runs.
