Elsted v Havant Wednesday: HAVANT Wednesday batted first and openers Skilton and Burrage took advantage of the Elsted bowling as they toiled to break the partnership.
Skilton duly completed his half-century and he and Burrage were in no trouble as they featured in a century partnership. Jordan Bates made the breakthrough when he had Burrage caught for 52 after featuring in a 167-run stand.
Bates then went on to dismiss Hounsome and Hovey cheaply.
Skilton completed his century and was bowled by Simon Kyte for 140.
Havant Wednesday scored 233-5 off their 35 overs, with Bates taking 3-37 and Kyte taking 2-35.
Elsted made a promising start through Terry Wadey and Kyte, before T Wadey was bowled by Burrage for 40 after a 98-run opening stand.
Bates was dismissed for 14, but Kyte duly completed a fine half-century. Stuart Barnard gave Kyte adequate support before Kyte was dismissed for 74.
Barnard and Archie Wadey rallied after some quick wickets and added 34 runs before Barnard was caught for 40.
Elsted finished on 217-8 as Havant Wednesday won by 16 runs.
