Rowledge v Liphook & Ripsley: LIPHOOK and Ripsley’s first team crashed to a comprehensive six-wicket defeat at Rowledge on Saturday in Division 1 of the Southern Premier Cricket League.

The visitors batted first and slipped to 9-2 after openers Rob Nicklin (eight) and Gabriel Broadhurst (nought) both fell cheaply. Rowledge’s reply got off to a solid start as openers Tom Gleave (20) and Sushant Balajee (25) both made good contributions. George Neave (2-11), Burton (1-16) and Ganguly (1-19) reduced the hosts to 57-4, but Joe Randall (23 not out) and Ian Metcalfe (one not out) kept their composure and saw Rowledge to their target in the 26th over.
