Liphook & Ripsley v Bournemouth: LIPHOOK and Ripsley crashed to a comprehensive nine-wicket defeat at home to Bournemouth in Division 1 of the Southern Premier Cricket League on Saturday.

The home side got off to a poor start as they slipped to 15-3 with Ryan Covey (ten), Gabriel Broadhurst (three) and Rob Nicklin (nought) all back in the pavilion.

Harry Munt (27) and Grant Rouse (24) added 50 for the fourth wicket before they both fell in quick succession.

George Neave (18) and Sam Franks (20) were the only other batsmen to reach double figures as Liphook were bowled out for 127 in the 34th over.

Bournemouth made light work of the run chase, as Nick Park (70 not out) and Tom West (41) added 119 for the first wicket before West was dismissed by Munt (1-17).

Simon Woodruff (nine not out) then joined Park to knock off the remaining runs.
