Steve Saycell (2-29) struck twice in his first two overs, violently removing stumps from the ground to leave Tichborne reeling at 6-2.
Max Chaplin (4-11) was keen to get into the action and removed Lyall with a brilliantly taken catch by Nick Cansfield at backward point.
Anthony White replaced Steve Saycell and immediately took a wicket.
By now, Chaplin was in his groove and removed the middle order without resistance as 40-4 became 49-8.
Late resistance from Cousins included three sixes off Anthony White, but Dave Coombes came into the attack and removed the final wicket with a sharply taken catch by Gordon Scott in the slips.
Good bowling from all of the Liphook attack, and particularly from Chaplin who will remember taking 4-11 from ten overs for a long time, meant that Tichborne were bowled out for 69 after only 22 overs.
After an early tea, Liphook openers Coombes and John Strong set about the run chase.
The pair gave Tichborne a lesson in how to bat as they passed the target in 18 overs in a dogged display of concentration and tenacity.
Liphook were on top from the very first over, admittedly against a weakened Tichborne Park team, but the visitors managed to maintain their focus and concentration throughout to register a win by ten wickets.
