Blanks and Moore opened the bowling for Liss and Collins was caught off the bowling of Blanks for 11.
Knight joined McCubbin at the crease but runs were hard to come by as the home side kept the pressure on.
Blanks picked up his second wicket, and Moore had the dangerous Knight caught without scoring to leave Steep 23-3. Hughes looked to knuckle down and build a partnership with Greatham.
Just as Steep looked to be getting back on track Blanks struck twice in the same over, removing Greatham for 18 and new batsman Hegan for a duck. Cowell and Hedicker came into the attack and took a wicket each to leave Steep 61-7. Kiddle and Hughes then added 43 before Dillon-Thistleton had Hughes caught for 40.
Kiddle finished on 27 not out as Steep scored 123.
Kemp and Pleace made an aggressive start to the run chase and were going at over six an over. Greatham settled into his bowling though and started to cause problems with pace and bounce.
Greatham struck first, dismissing Pleace for 11, but a valuable opening partnership of 41 had put Liss in a good position. Bone dismissed Kemp, caught by Knight for 46, and Austin was then bowled by Greatham for ten to leave Liss 73-3.
Cowell came in and quickly moved the score on with some big shots and the total went past 100 before Blanks was bowled for 13. Cowell took Liss over the line in the 19th over, finishing on an impressive 32 not out.
