IBM Hursley v Liss: LISS made a positive start, bowling first, taking a wicket in the fourth over.
Blanks and Charles looked to take advantage of the uneven bounce, but the home side managed to hit a few boundaries.
Clarke came into the attack and picked up a wicket immediately. Clarke picked up two more wickets, and Charles (1-13 off nine overs) finished with fine figures.
The visitors introduced Dillon-Thiselton and Hedicker into the attack and the score pushed on quickly towards 200 before the returning Blanks removed Pollard for 74. Blanks then picked up his third wicket, but the home side manage to post 240-7 off their 45 overs.
T Austin opened the batting with Pleace and the pair made a solid start, taking the total past 100 before T Austin was caught for 44.
The players left the field at 2.45pm to watch the World Cup football and Liss were 127-1 with 23 overs left.
After the break the run scoring continued as Pleace reached his half-century.
Pleace and Moore took Liss within 100 runs of victory, before the visitors lost two wickets in three overs with Pleace (58) and Moore (33) both being dismissed.
Liss required 71 from the last 15 overs, and Hannam scored freely, but a fourth wicket fell at the other end.
Blanks and Hannam then built a crucial partnership, but Hannam fell for 24.
Blanks was caught for 29, but H Austin and Dillon-Thiselton knocked off the remaining runs with two overs to spare to give Liss a three-wicket victory.
