Hartley Wintney II v Liss: LISS got back to winning ways on Saturday with a victory at Hartley Wintney.
Liss won the toss and elected to bowl first. Cam Clarke made the breakthrough when he dismissed Rowe for nine. Phil Moore took the next two wickets to leave the hosts on 113-3.
Will Rice was the next to strike when he dismissed Gregory for four and bowled Waddington for a duck to leave the home side on 125-5.
Opener Nightingale played an important innings, but Rice struck again and had him caught and bowled for 71 in the 24th over.
Rice then claimed another two wickets to finish with superb figures of 5-35 from his allotted nine overs.
Millward and Darnell added valuable runs to the Hartley Wintney score, but Hedicker came back into the attack and Liss bowled Hartley Wintney out for 200.
The visitors lost Gavin Kemp early on when he was trapped leg before wicket for five in the fifth over.
Moore joined Toby Austin at the crease and the pair added a valuable partnership of 69 before Austin was trapped leg before wicket for 27 to leave Liss on 83-2.
Clarke joined Moore at the crease and a further 20 runs were added before Clarke was caught for nine.
Rice took advantage of the short boundary and hit four sixes before he was caught for 33. Liss then lost the wickets of Ian Brownlee and Chris Allcock to fall to 188-6.
Moore (77 not out) and Dillon-Thiselton (seven not out) knocked off the remaining runs to see the visitors home to a four-wicket victory.
