Liphook & Ripsley v Calmore Sports: A FREE-FLOWING 53-run partnership between George Neave (55) and the undefeated Grant Rouse (59 not out) steered Liphook and Ripsley to a fine six-wicket Southern Premier Cricket League T20 win against Calmore Sports at Ripsley Park.

Opting to bat, the visitors posted a competitive 145-6, led by skipper Mark Lavelle (44) and James Manning (34).

Ryan Covey (3-25) was the chief Liphook controller as the hosts fought to restrict Calmore to 145-6 off 20 overs.

In contrast, Calmore were unable to stop a flow of boundaries from Neave and Rouse, the latter finishing the onslaught with two fine sixes.

Liphook face a trip to Ventnor on the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Saturday). They then take on Berkshire Village Cup Champions Cookham Dean in the First National Round of the Village Cup at 1pm on Sunday, with the victors being only three games from a Lord’s final.
