Bramshaw v Petersfield: PETERSFIELD Cricket Club’s first team crashed to a comprehensive 189-run defeat at Bramshaw on Saturday afternoon in County Division 2 of the Hampshire Cricket League.

The home side batted first and scored a mammoth 355-8 off their allotted 45 overs. Opening batsman Andy Hart top scored for Bramshaw with 148, and Joe Coombs provided excellent support with 96. Finn Campbell (2-69), Rob Allerston (3-75), Harvey Baker (1-49) and Rob Straw (1-74) were the Petersfield wicket takers, with the other wicket being a run out.

Petersfield were bowled out for 166 off 35 overs in their reply. Captain Frank Straw top scored with 60, and Campbell (18), R Straw (27), Hans Mai (11), and Paddy May (18 not out) were the other Petersfield batsmen to reach double figures. Zane de Monte (2-32), Ben Arnold (3-11) and David Streather (5-46) were the wicket takers for Bramshaw.
