Petersfield v Easton & Martyr Worthy: PETERSFIELD Cricket Club’s first team were frustrated by the weather on Saturday after making an encouraging start to their home match against Easton and Martyr Worthy in Hampshire Cricket League County Division 2.

Petersfield fielded first and soon got to work as they reduced the visitors to 48-4. David Greetham (2-26) and 16-year-old Ben Turk (2-18) took the early wickets to leave the visitors in trouble.

However, the rain then arrived, preventing any further play, and the match was abandoned.

Petersfield are in action again on Saturday, when they will travel to Portchester. The match will start at 2pm.
