Petersfield v Old Tauntonians & Romsey III: PETERSFIELD’S first team continued their good start to the season as they won by 119 runs against Old Tauntonians and Romsey’s third team at The Heath on Saturday afternoon in County Division 3 North of the Hampshire Cricket League.

The home side batted first and Henry Shore (12), Jack Wrenn (27), Chris Russell (26), Tom Sherry (25), Oscar Amis (10), Frank Straw (37) and Christie Salmon (28 not out) all reached double figures as Petersfield were bowled out for 220 in the 45th over.

The hosts then made short work of Old Tauntonians and Romsey’s batting line-up, as they bowled the visitors out for 101 in the 26th over.

Joe Clarke (2-23), Oscar Amis (4-31), Hans Mai (1-19) and Straw (3-8) were the Petersfield wicket takers.

Petersfield have now won both of their completed matches in County Division 3 North so far this season.
