Herriard II v Petersfield III: PETERSFIELD’S third team earned an emphatic seven-wicket victory at Herriard’s second team in Regional Division 3 North East of the Hampshire Cricket League on Saturday.

Mishra (17), Sahane (40), Sahu (48 not out) and Prasad (31) were the only batsmen to reach double figures as the home side were bowled out for 169 in the 36th over.

John McGuire (1-25), Clive Shore (1-24), Andy May (3-10), Katie Jackson (2-30) and Mark Hamilton (1-36) were the Petersfield wicket takers.

In reply Petersfield lost skipper James Stratford-Tuke (six) and A May (nine) cheaply, but Shore (46) and Paddy May (79 not out) both batted well to break the back of the run chase.

Tom Stratford-Tuke (two not out) then joined P May at the crease to see Petersfield home to victory in the 28th over. Parker (2-45) and Soper (1-31) were the Herriard wicket takers.
