Liss v Littleton & West Hill: LISS were put into bat by Littleton on a damp track.
Openers Gavin Kemp and Richard Pleace junior got off to a steady start against Clothier and Cook.
A change of bowling saw the first wicket fall in the 19th over, with Kemp caught for 41 with the score on 88. Robson fell in the next over without scoring.
This brought Phil Moore to the crease to join Pleace junior. Pleace junior punished the bad balls and reached his third century of the season before being bowled by the returning Clothier for 108, after a partnership of 96 with Moore.
Moore continued to bat solidly but Liss lost three more wickets with only 33 runs being added to the score. Moore then also fell for a fine 46 as Liss finished on 221-8. Anscombe was the pick of the Littleton bowlers with figures of 3-39.
Opening bowlers Shaun Blanks and Liam Charles bowled tightly, with Blanks taking the first wicket in the seventh over and Charles taking his first wicket in the following over to reduce Littleton to 16-2. Charles struck again in the tenth over with Littleton struggling on 23-3.
Paddy Cowell was brought into the attack and struck in his first and fourth over to leave Littleton 66-5. Cowell then took his third wicket to leave Littleton 82-6.
O’Brian and Cook added 82 before the returning Blanks had O’Brian caught by Charles for a fine 81.
Moore was then introduced to the attack and took two wickets in his first over. Liss secured victory as Littleton finished on 200-9.
