Liphook & Ripsley II v Liss: LISS travelled to Liphook and were put into bat by home skipper Steve Barratt.

Kemp and Pleace opened up and made a good start. Liss moved quickly on to 23 before Wrenn bowled Kemp for nine. Cowell was the next batsmen in and settled well.

Pleace looked in good touch and was finding the boundary on a regular basis. Cowell started to open up with some big shots before Strong dismissed him for 16.

Pleace reached his half-century and Liss passed 100 in the 22nd over. Pleace reached another century and Hannam reached his half-century before Hannam was caught and bowled by the returning Barratt. With 11 overs left Liss were 195-3.

Forty runs were added before Smithers was bowled for 15 by Flack. Liss then went past 250 before Allcock was dismissed by Barratt for 22. Charles hit some late runs and Pleace was caught for 155 as Liss finished on 302-6.

Liphook openers Clark and Multon made a solid start, but Charles dismissed Multon for 14 and Strong was bowled by Baker for four.

Clark and James moved the score along before James was caught for 29 off the bowling of Charles. Smithers was brought into the attack and made an immediate impact, bowling Clark for 33.

Flack and Wrenn took Liphook past 100 with 23 overs left. The pair formed a big partnership before Wrenn was dismissed by Smithers for 44. Smithers then bowled Flack for 35 and dismissed Tapp first ball.

Fiddler and Barratt built a partnership as Liphook finished on 240-7.
