Bowling first, Charles and Blanks made a steady start with Charles picking up a wicket in his second over.
Ali and Kahn then settled in and their extra aggression seemed to put the Liss bowlers off their lines.
The home side leaked runs quickly and the visitors reached 90 before a change of bowling saw Hedicker pick up the second and third wickets in consecutive overs.
A mixture of fielding mistakes and loose deliveries did not put the visitors under much pressure, and Ali was went past his half-century.
Pleace and the returning Cowell came into the attack and picked up three wickets apiece. The visitors were still managing to score but the dismissal of Ali for an impressive 108 kept RAM down to 211.
Liss’ reply did not get off to a good start with Austin falling early on.
Pleace and Hannam steadied things and enjoyed a 50-run partnership but the dismissal of Hannam for 26 was immediately followed by the wicket of Cowell.
A good spell of bowling from Khan had Liss in trouble and a steady flow of wickets managed to remove the middle order for just eight runs, and Pleace was bowled for 29 to leave Liss on 94-8.
The returning Javed picked up the final two wickets in three deliveries as Liss were bowled out for 113.
Liss travel to second-placed South Wilts’ third team on Saturday looking for a win to put them back in the hunt for promotion.
