PETERSFIELD Cricket Club’s teams have gone from strength to strength.

The under-11 A side won the South East Hampshire Cricket Association league this season.

The under-15 boys almost won their league, but they lost their last game of the season on Saturday against Portsmouth and Southsea under-15 A.

The second team finished second in their division of the Hampshire Cricket League and will be promoted next season to Regional Division 1.

The first team narrowly missed promotion but had a very encouraging season built on a combination of some talented colts with seasoned senior players.

The third team continued to develop colts and provide a pathway for them to senior cricket and a fun brand of competitive cricket, and the girls’ and ladies’ teams continued to flourish.

Petersfield’s under-19 Twenty20 side, the Panthers, entered the NatWest under-19 Club Twenty20 competition and brought colour and excitement to the Heath.

The club provides opportunity for all from under seven years old to senior to play cricket.

The club is always looking for new members and volunteers, and it is open to the community.
