LIPHOOK and Ripsley captain Charles Janczur paid tribute to all the supporters who went to Lord’s on Sunday to cheer his side on in the National Village Cup final.
Janczur said: “I would like to thank everyone who turned up to Lord’s to support us – you really got behind us.
“There were a lot of people there from the club, including parents with their children, and hopefully we inspired some of the children.
“There was also a good turnout from Liphook United Football Club, and Folkton and Flixton had good support down from Yorkshire, so there was a really good atmosphere.”
