Bournemouth III 5 Petersfield 2: PETERSFIELD travelled to Bournemouth on a wet and windy afternoon.
The visitors were without a handful of players due to illness and injury.
Bournemouth looked the more settled side on their home turf, but the visitors took the lead when their midfield played a through ball to Grinstead in the circle, who deflected the ball across the goalkeeper to Harris who finished with ease.
Bournemouth were persistent and found themselves back in control after two penalty corners ended in the Petersfield goal.

Petersfield were back on level terms when Harris skilfully went past the home side’s line of defence before slipping the ball into the net.
Petersfield bolstered their midfield for the second half, which appeared to have a positive affect for the visiting side. However, Petersfield’s defenders had a lapse in concentration and the visitors soon found themselves picking the ball out of their goal twice in quick succession.
Petersfield nearly got back into the game when Harris, who was hoping to add to his brace, had a drag flick stopped on the line.
Bournemouth extended their advantage when they won a penalty flick.
The penalty flick was completed with pinpoint accuracy, out of the reach of goalkeeper Smith, and it finished 5-2 to the home side.
