Petersfield Ladies 18 Andover Ladies III 0: PETERSFIELD Hockey Club’s ladies’ first team played an Andover team with no keeper.

In the first quarter of the game the contest was fairly even between the two sides. However, in the latter part of the game Petersfield’s attackers took control and they dominated the Andover goal. Although the Andover defenders and kicking back played valiantly, they could not stop Petersfield from scoring and the half time score was 10-0 to Petersfield.

In the second half Petersfield took the opportunity to experiment and try their players in a new formation. Andover came back out energised in the second half and went on the counter attack. Only some strong goalkeeping from Martin stopped the visitors from scoring on a number of occasions. However, Petersfield maintained the pressure and added eight more goals to see out the game 18-0 winners.
