However, the Pirates started to dominate possession and were then awarded a penalty. Jensen took the penalty and placed it nicely in the bottom left corner to make it 1-1. Max then played a beautiful ball through to James B, who was unmarked and smashed the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-1. Aldershot soon equalised to make it 2-2, and they then scored another from a corner to lead 3-2 at half time.

The Pirates completely dominated in the second half. Aran had two good chances, but Aldershot’s defence just about managed to deny him. James L made a good save from a rocketing shot, and James B equalised with a cracking goal into the bottom right corner to make it 3-3. The game finished 3-3 and the Pirates remain at the top of the league.
