Farnham Roller Hockey Club will enter the new season with two committee members stepping into South East Counties Roller Hockey Association (SECRHA) leadership roles.

Farnham chairman Adam Collis was elected SECRHA president at the regional association’s annual general meeting, while Farnham’s fundraising manager Linda Dabrowski steps into the role of regional secretary.

The appointments follow a successful year for Farnham Roller Hockey Club across multiple age groups, marked by strong performances, league titles, regional wins, new female-only teams, participation in European competitions, and grassroots growth.

Collis and Dabrowski bring strong local experience to their new regional positions, further strengthening the club’s commitment to supporting the sport across the south.

Their roles will focus on serving the wider region and working alongside SECRHA clubs to strengthen the region as a whole.

“It’s a privilege to step into the role of regional president,” said Collis.

“We look forward to working alongside clubs across the south to get more children involved in the sport, support players' development, provide a safe, competitive environment, and strengthen the sport at every level.”

Dabrowksi added: “Having seen first-hand the dedication in our club I'm eager to support committee members and other clubs in the region, and ensure a solid foundation for all children playing roller hockey in the south.”

The appointments come during a period of significant change for SECRHA’s regional committee. Tony Sollars, Farnham’s head referee, has stepped down as regional head referee after more than four years in the post leading and developing referees across the region.

Despite so much movement in the regional committee, Farnham Roller Hockey Club remain dedicated to growing the sport.
