Petersfield U-12 Boys 5 Basingstoke U-12 Boys 2: PETERSFIELD under-12 Boys started attacking from the off, with Young and Rushin driving the ball into the Basingstoke D.

Time after time the Basingstoke defence managed to defend their goal, but finally the first goal arrived to give Petersfield the upper hand.

The Petersfield defence of Hulme and Rowland put in some fine tackles to keep Basingstoke away from their D for most of the game.

The second third saw Basingstoke come back at Petersfield with some good attacking runs and they managed to get through the Petersfield defence with two good goals in this period.

Not happy with an even score, Petersfield’s Bardoe and Pruden attacked the Basingstoke midfield and Petersfield continued to battle on in the last 20 minutes.

Young and Rushin scored two further goals and ensured that Petersfield took the three points.
