PETERSFIELD Town took another giant step towards claiming the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division title with an emphatic home victory on Saturday (March 28).

The Rams had to wait until the 42nd minute to take the lead, but thanks to a four-goal burst from Robbie Tambling Petersfield picked up another crucial three points.

With five league games remaining, the Rams now need to win three of those fixtures to guarantee top spot in the Premier Division.

The Rams took the lead on 42 minutes when Joe Prodomo kept Warren Hunt's effort out, but Tambling reacted quickest to reach the rebound first and tuck his shot away from close range....
