Aldershot Town returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win at Hanwell Town in a pre-season friendly.

Brody Peart opened the scoring for the Shots in the first half, while quick thinking from Marcus Wyllie saw the forward double Aldershot’s advantage just after the break.

The Shots nearly took the lead in the 22nd minute when Wyllie worked a yard of space on the edge of the box, but his effort went just wide of the right-hand post.

Aldershot did go ahead on 26 minutes when Peart intercepted the ball near the halfway line and drove forward towards the edge of the area before firing an emphatic finish into the top right-hand corner of the net.

The Shots were quick out of the traps at the start of the second half and doubled their advantage on 48 minutes when Wyllie took advantage of a mix-up at the back from Hanwell and slotted home.
