ALRESFORD Town manager Richard Luffman praised his side for the way they battled back in the second half against Petersfield Town.
He admitted two substitutions made the difference against the Rams, who had caused problems for the home side.
Via Alresford’s official Twitter feed, Luffman said:?“We got there in the end. First half we missed a lot of chances and couldn’t quite sneak in front.
“We then fell to a hammer blow by going 1-0 down to a very good free kick. After that we fell away until the break.
“We made a few changes after the half time whistle and that helped us.
“Craig Harding was returning from a major back operation, playing his first game of the season, and Dave Parry came on. Craig scored two great goals and Parry made two of them with great vision.
“We were very good second half and we needed to be. Petersfield didn’t lie down and they made it tough for us.”
