ALRESFORD Town conceded a late equaliser to draw 1-1 away at mid-table Portland United on Saturday afternoon.

The Magpies got off to a dream start and took the lead in the second minute through Geoff Dunn’s goal.

Alresford looked like they were going to pick up all three points, but Alex Halloran’s goal on 91 minutes earned Portland a share of the spoils.

The point leaves Alresford in fifth place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division table.
