ALRESFORD Town enjoyed a profitable week in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, with two wins from two games.

The Magpies started their week with a 3-1 win at home to Brockenhurst last Tuesday night.

Luke Rae broke the deadlock for the Magpies in the fifth minute, and Chris Mason’s penalty on 73 minutes doubled Alresford’s advantage.

Greg King pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 79th minute to make it 2-1, but Aaron Blaxall sealed Alresford’s win when he made it 3-1 on 87 minutes.

Alresford then won 3-0 away at Bashley on Saturday afternoon.

Rae gave the Magpies the lead in the 37th minute, and he scored his and Alresford’s second goal of the afternoon on 68 minutes. Rae completed his hat-trick in the 93rd minute to seal Alresford’s 3-0 win.
