ALRESFORD Town earned a creditable 1-1 draw at AFC Portchester on Saturday afternoon in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

John Cole’s goal gave the Magpies a point.

Alresford progressed in the Southampton Senior Cup with a 3-1 win against Folland Sports at Arlebury Park last Wednesday evening.

Sam Burt, Craig Harding and Scott Munro scored Alresford’s goals.
