ALRESFORD Town remain at the top of the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division table after picking up two fine wins in the past week.

The Magpies started their week with a 4-2 victory at home to Shaftesbury last Tuesday night.

In-form striker Craig Harding helped himself to a hat-trick for the home side, although kick-off had been delayed by 30 minutes because of a floodlight failure.

Scott Munro was also on target for the Magpies, with River Smith scoring Shaftesbury’s two goals.

Alresford then won 2-0 at Lymington Town on Saturday.

After a goalless first half Aidan Radford and Duarte Martins struck in the second half to give the Magpies the three points.
