ALRESFORD Town have moved up to fifth place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after winning 3-1 at home to Fareham Town on Wednesday night.

The visitors took the lead at Arlebury Park through Bradley Norton’s goal, but Sam Burt equalised for the Magpies from the penalty spot.

Burt then scored his second to give Alresford a 2-1 lead at half time, and Scott Munro sealed the three points in the second half when he made it 3-1.
