ALRESFORD Town enjoyed an excellent week with two impressive victories in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.
The Magpies started their week with a 3-1 victory at home to Baffins Milton Rovers last Tuesday night.
Luke Ray gave the Magpies the lead in the 29th minute, and Chris Mason’s penalty on 40 minutes made it 2-0.
The visitors pulled a goal back in the 70th minute, but Rudi Plummer sealed the three points for Alresford when he made it 3-1 on 82 minutes.
The Magpies then earned a hugely impressive 1-0 victory at runaway league leaders Sholing on Saturday afternoon.
Steve Hall scored the only goal of the game in the 80th minute to give Alresford the three points.
Results elsewhere meant Sholing would have won the league with three points, but the champagne had to remain on ice.
