ALRESFORD Town reached the next round of the FA Vase with a 1-0 win at home to Verwood Town in their second qualifying round replay last Tuesday night.

Sam Burt’s goal in the 28th minute sent the Magpies through to the next round.

Alresford are due to host Abingdon United at Arlebury Park in the first round proper of the FA Vase on Saturday, October 13 (3pm).
